Dynamic Distributional Cost-Effectiveness Analysis

Tracking cost-effectiveness and health inequality over time across multiple birth cohorts — the core of my PhD thesis.

Standard distributional cost-effectiveness analysis (DCEA) evaluates equity impacts at a single point in time. My doctoral research develops dynamic DCEA (D-DCEA), which tracks how both cost-effectiveness and health inequality evolve over a policy time horizon as interventions diffuse unevenly across socioeconomic groups.

The framework combines SES-stratified state-transition and microsimulation models, uptake diffusion with inter-cohort knowledge transfer, and Atkinson-index-based inequality measurement. It has been applied to genomic breast cancer screening in Australia and presented at iHEA, HTAi, ISPOR, and AHES.
